Elias A Busuego Jr PhD DTM and Christie G Busuego and Families

We celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary on May 21, 2021 with my beautiful wife, Christie Ibarra Galos Busuego. We have four children namely: Eliseus John, Christopher, Elias Jr. IV (Jay), and Christine Elisha (Chrisha).

When our children were younger, they learned to read the Bible every day in our daily evening devotions and Bible studies reading the book of Proverbs. There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs so we have one chapter every day. For example, if the day is in the month of March 27, we read, study and interact chapter 27. It started when my passion for my family to grow in their spiritual lives especially when our children go to college and university and I could not get hold them in our daily evening devotion.

The year of 2011, after our three sons (John, Chris & Elias Jr.) all graduated in college, (I missed all of them) I committed of sending the “Daily Words and Thoughts” to them. As a result of more than 7 years spiritual growth, from daily words and thoughts to the battleground of our minds, the book, “From The Words and Thoughts To The Swords and Battlegrounds” was published August 2012. I am proud of them serving now in the US military as officers in the US Army and US Marine. Christine Elisha (Chrisha) , our daughter, our youngest got promoted to Captain of the US Army. I am so proud of her that God gave us a girl, now a young woman, a woman I can describe in Proverbs 31, a woman of integrity just like her mother. They are the only two women most beloved in my life; my wife, and daughter.

We confessed with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, our God and Savior, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. We believe that one God exists in three Persons and one substance, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-8).

Herewith are my loved ones: First, our first daughter-in law, Kristin Simcox, wife of John with their 3 children; Greyson (1st grandson), Harper (1st granddaughter), and Maximo (our cheerful grandson).

Second, our second daughter-in-law, Sarah Beech, wife of Elias G. Busuego IV (Jay) with their 2 children; Miles Elias (handsome grandson), and Liliana (Lilly) (our rosy and quiet granddaughter).

Third, our first son-law, Steve Kim, husband of Christine Elisha, with their son, Nathaniel, and daughter, Leah.

Fourth, our third daughter-in-law, Taylor Rose, wife of Christopher with their lovely princess daughter, Zara Rose, and prince son, Erik Josiah.

Now, at this time, the passion that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ that I captured with compassion is spreading to others (more than 550 friends and relatives) who opens their emails and facebook and be blessed that we may bless others.

Herewith is my extended families: My father, Elias Santa Ines Busuego, Jr. (deceased) was in the U.S. Army wanted me to be like him, a Professional Mechanical Engineer but I like my grandfather in my mother side, Luis Aguilar, Sr. (deceased) who was a Civil Engineer who took Master’s Degree in Forestry here in the United States. My mother, Herminia Milan Aguilar (deceased) was a professor in the University of the Philippines. She has a Master’s Degree in Education. I am the third from the oldest and have five brothers and five sisters namely their first name: Maria Teresita, Ferdinand, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Annabelle, with my stepmother Digna, (deceased) and half-brothers; James, Gemini, Walter (deceased), Eleazer and finally my beloved half-sister Mildred.

Praise the Lord! We give thanks to God for everything, and all glory to God. Amen!

In 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
